Gooramadda Olives produces some of the best olives and best extra virgin olive oils in Australia.
Step into out cellar door and view the vast array of trophies and ribbons for yourself.
We have consistently been awarded Best Australian Table Olive, Best Kalamata Olive, Best Australian Green Olive, Best Australian Black Olive, Best Australian Extra Virgin Olive oils, Best Australian Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
We also make scrumptious dressings using our extra virgin olive oil. Our dressings are sugar free with no artificial sweeteners!
We make award winning tapenade & stock a large range of local and regional gourmet produce. Our handmade artisan range includes small batch jams, marmalades, vino cotto, fine local cheeses, gelato, drizzles and much much more.
We handmade Olive Oil Soaps & Goats Milk Soaps with our extra virgin olive at the grove.

The rose gardens are in full bloom October to March each year.
Our Story
Gooramadda Olives is an Agri-Tourism business, a working farm run by Melanie and Rob. We grow and produce a large variety of olives and extra virgin olive oils. The olive trees were well established when we arrived but over the last thirteen years we have planted a large variety of plants which include roses (hundreds of them), hydrangeas, iris, orchids, proteas and a small grove of citrus trees used for our jams and marmalades. There is always something in bloom at the grove.
We reside at the olive grove in the 'House on a Hill' (as Melanie refers to it) perched above the mighty Murray River, a short distance from the Rutherglen, Victoria in the Rutherglen Wine Region. Just across the border, only 5 minutes drive away is Howlong NSW with its Golf Resort, bakery, local butcher, post office and newsagent. Our grandchildren have now been introduced to the annual harvest and help hand pick the olives. Life doesn’t get much better than this and we’d like to invite you to share in our journey.
